Jam-packed July

T.S. Eliot: "the end is just the beginning".... this quote encapsulates July's energy quite magnificently. It has been a month of new roles, endings, beginnings - and so much in between.

Seduce your senses below...

The Kardashians

Succumbing to social norms, or perhaps enchanted by the coven- Kardashian fever has hit and I’ve taken to the sofa indisposed to all responsibilities. Oops

But alas, it’s over now and real life beacons.

ESPA Life at the Corinthia Hotel

I longed for balance. My mind was active after a flurry of change, responsibilities and general busyness. I felt out of flow, disjointed and scrambled. Escaping the grit of the city seemed like an impossible dream, yet a spa day fitted quite perfectly.

Vgari Lifestyle recommended ESPA Life at Corinthia, and their recommendation did not disappoint. I could linger for hours in the Corinthia's breathtaking spa which houses multiple revitalising thermal spa facilities from an amphitheatre sauna, to black marble steam room.

I opted for The Body Balance Ritual which combines a deep tissue massage with a facial and scalp massage. The ritual releases knots and tension, I left with my mind felt fortified, and I emerged with a renewed sense of well-being

The delicious delights tantalising my tastebuds this month have ranged from Pophams (perfect) Almond croissant, to long Tuscan-style lunches at La Famiglia. See below, and start drooling...

Future Islands- A dream of you and me

“And found a piece of me

Staring at the sea”

These words echo through my bones

Neal’s Yard Lavender Bath Salts

With having a Scorpio moon, and heavy water dominance in my birth chart, it is essential that water plays a central role in my daily routine. For me, there’s nothing more nourishing than a walk along one of London’s canals, hearing the ocean crash against the shore or an evening spent in a long, hot and steamy bath. As Loren Eiseley says “If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water”.

Now back to long, hot and steamy baths... Any therapeutic bathing experience requires bath salts- my current favourite being Neal’s Yard Remedies. Their Mineral rich sea salt infused with relaxing lavender from the French alps which helps calm the nervous system, relax the mind- and reduces stress in the body.
